If you don’t, it comes down to this: Lawmakers in Missouri are trying to persuade the Chiefs to stay in the Show-Me State, preferably at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, where they’ve played their home games for 53 years. Kansas lawmakers are trying to persuade them to leave Arrowhead for the Kansas side of the metro area.With that in mind, I had considered doing something ludicrous: writing a column arguing that the Chiefs should make their next home a) in eastern Clay County, near Excelsior Springs or b) somewhere in Ray County.
