Lucas Walker and his Orrick varsity eight-man football teammates continued learning new offensive and defensive systems this week.They did so during a three-day team camp. Overseen by new coach Matt O’Dell, the camp began Monday and concluded Wednesday on Orrick’s practice field.O’Dell, an Orrick graduate and a former assistant at Richmond to 11-man varsity coach Nick Persell, describes his offenses and defenses as “multiple.”“We’re going to be able to do a variety of different things – a lot like what Persell does at Richmond,” he said Monday.The Bearcats also will offer opponents multiple looks, according to O’Dell.
