Kinley Rogers left this year’s version of the Mineral Water Classic a champion.Twice over.The Excelsior Springs junior won the girls discus at the April 25 track and field competition at Tiger Stadium, throwing 35.05 meters. Rogers won the shot put, too, by throwing 11.65.Rogers placed in the top three in three total events. She completed her trifecta by placing third in the javelin.Excelsior Springs produced three other top-three girls finishers. Josie Casler placed second in the javelin, and Kate Houck and Makenna Maring placed third in the high jump and pole vault, respectively.Elizabeth McCoy placed in the top five in two events. The sophomore finished fourth in the 300-meter low hurdles and fifth in the 100 high hurdles.Elizabeth Ringenberg placed fifth in the 1,600. Keelin Brewer took sixth in the 300 hurdles....
