Ryan places third for ESHS at Ron Ives Invitational
Reese Ryan held her own against competition from larger schools when she and her Excelsior Springs teammates competed at the Ron Ives Invitational.Ryan, a first-year high schooler, placed third in the triple jump at the March 21 track and field meet, hosted by Liberty High School. She was the highest finisher for Excelsior Springs, a Class 4 program.Excelsior Springs was one of two Class 4 schools there. The rest were Class 5 schools.Ryan, who leaped 10.05 meters, accounted for one of Excelsior Springs’ 10 top-10 finishes. Junior Kinley Rogers provided three others.
