Gabby Scrivener led the way for Excelsior Springs when the Tigers played in two recent varsity girls golf tournaments.The junior shot a 113 (+41) for her 18hole, par-72 round to finish as the team’s No. 1 golfer at a Sept. 25 tournament on The Posse course at Paradise Pointe in Smithville. She then finished as its top finisher with a 103 at a Sept. 26 tournament at Green Hills Golf Course in Chillicothe.Scrivener helped the Tigers shoot a 538 as a team at Smithville. The top four finishers counted toward the team score.Rounding out Excelsior Springs’ team score were Madeline Andreasen with a 132, Addi Mathews with a 142 and Ellie Lynn with a 151. Ella Edwards, a sophomore, was the team’s No. 5 golfer with a 152.Scrivener’s 103 helped the girls shoot a season-best 466 at Chillicothe.
