Tigerette signs to dance at William Jewell

Another Tigerette will continue to dance after high school. Excelsior Springs senior Kelsey Coleman recently signed a letter of intent to be a part of the dance team at William Jewell College in Liberty, where she’ll major in psychology. “I tried out for the dance team at William Jewell and found out how great of a community it was and being close to home was a big reason I chose there,” Coleman said. Coleman expects her biggest challenge at William Jewell to be getting comfortable with dancing with new people again. But she’s also excited about meeting new friends and becoming a better dancer alongside them. “I have grown used to seeing the same faces every day for every game and the memories I’ve made, but now, I am excited to become familiar with the Jewell community,” she said. After college, Coleman intends to use her psychology degree to become a forensic, cognitive or neuro psychologist, she said. Coleman credits much of her dancing success to Tanya Duncan, Samantha…
