Excelsior Springs varsity football coach Jake Danneman had reasons to be impressed when watching his Tigers scrimmage against Cameron and East Buchanan during an Aug. 23 preseason jamboree at Cameron.One reason was his team’s physicality. The Tigers were the most aggressive team of the three, according to Danneman.In addition, Excelsior Springs played fundamentality sound on defense, Danneman said.
