Four Tigers received all-district honors in varsity girls soccer. Abby Rash was named to the Class 2 District 8 team. Bailey Carder received second-team all-district honors. Makenzy Smith and Lauren Mueller received honorable mention. In other postseason honors, Rash was a first-team all-conference pick, Carder was a second-team all-conference pick and Mueller received honorable mention to the all-conference team. And 12 Tigers received 12 academic all-conference honors: Carder, Mueller, Madeline Andreason, Alayna Baxter, Ellyssa Blesing, Madison King, Kara Lindley, Jane Pemberton, Shelby Stodden, Haley Smith, Alayna Wilson and Jesa Xiong. The honors followed a season in which the Tigers were 9-10 overall. The win total was triple that of 2021, when Excelsior Springs finished 3-15.
