Excelsior Springs varsity football coach Jake Danneman will probably stress the importance of ball security to his Tigers after their 41-23 Aug. 30 season- and home-opening loss to Belton.“When you have five turnovers and two of those end up in touchdowns, you’re really not giving yourself a chance at being in a ballgame,” Danneman said.The two turnovers that ended in touchdowns were both interceptions.
