Veterans, newcomers fill up ES boys soccer roster
EXCELSIOR SPRINGS – Varsity soccer coach Zac Ganzer has a mix of veterans and newcomers this boys soccer season.
The Tigers return eight players who saw significant minutes last season. Ethan Edwards enters his senior season after earning, all-state, all-metro, all-district and all-conference honors last season. Other returning Tigers are senior Andrew Armstrong; juniors Nolan Greim, Brendan Blackburn, Zach Dimes, Carter Pitts and Braxton Moffett, and sophomore Mason Wartner, their leading scorer.
“We have a group of extremely versatile players who are willing to play wherever we need them to play,” Ganze said.
