Volleyballers cap campaign with awards banquet
Excelsior Springs varsity volleyball coach Cindy Price had some special honors for some of herTigers Sunday night.During the team’s end-of-season banquet at the high school, Price gave out the Good Teammate, Most Improved, No Fear, Hustle, Future Coach, Volleyball IQ, Team Leader and Most Valuable Player (MVP) awards.Jordin Price collected three awards. The junior was named MVP and received the Volleyball IQ Award. She also was a co-recipient of the Team Leader Award.Junior Maya Watkins also collected three awards. She received the Most Improved and No Fear awards, and was a co-recipient of the Team Leader Award.Bayli Crowley, a sophomore, received two honors.
