Cindy Price has an influx of underclassmen to guide in her latest season of helming the Excelsior Springs High School volleyball program.

Names, years in school and positions of returning starters: Maddie Breshears, senior, defensive specialist/libero; Bayli Crowley, senior, pin hitter; Lara Hutton, senior, pin hitter; Anna James, sophomore; middle hitter; Camden McDaniels, senior, pin hitter; Izzy Maxwell, junior, middle hitter.

Crowley has been a middle hitter, and Hutton occasionally was a setter during offseason training, Price stated. James moved onto the varsity squad late last season.
