Lucas Walker is on a quest.The Orrick senior wants to break the school record for most tackles in a game, according Bearcats varsity 8-man football coach Matt O’Dell. That record is 25, set by Taylor Eubank in 2007, O’Dell stated Monday via email.“I believe he will get that record this year,” O’Dell wrote.Walker was credited with 19 tackles in his most recent outing – a 38-12 Sept. 19 loss to visiting Norborne Hardin-Central (NHC). That total included 16 assisted tackles.Walker also paced Orrick’s run game on offense against NHC, tallying 74 yards and a touchdown on nine carries. His contributions helped the Bearcats keep pace with the Aggies the first half.
