The latest winter storm has suspended activity for the Excelsior Springs varsity boys basketball team.Like their girls counterparts, the Excelsior Springs boys were scheduled to face Kearney Tuesday at Excelsior Springs in Greater Kansas City Suburban Conference-Blue Division action. And like the girls game, the boys game got postponed because of the weather.Before the storm, Excelsior Springs got in two Blue Division games last week – a 64-39 Feb. 11 home loss to Raytown South and a 73-33 Feb. 14 road loss to Grandview.The Tigers played Ray South close for the first half and even led during the first quarter. Ray South got out to a 7-2 lead, but Excelsior Springs answered with a 7-0 spurt to go up 9-7.
