COVID-19 not wiped out, more die in Clay, Ray

Body JEFFERSON CITY – The Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services, or DHSS, reminds Missourians the battle against COVID-19 continues. In Ray County over the past four weeks, the death toll has risen from 26 to 28 people, the county health department reported.

Missourians can self-test for COVID-19

Body JEFFERSON CITY – At-home tests that check for SARS-CoV-2, a virus that causes COVID-19, are available free to Missouri residents. A Missourian choosing this testing option will order the free testing kit online.

WATER CANCELS WATERFEST

Body EXCELSIOR SPRINGS – Community residents, public safety personnel, the WaterFest Committee and festival vendors said canceling WaterFest because of downtown flooding, damage and impending thunderstorms made sense.
