Council OKs work schedule, OT changes at PD

Body EXCELSIOR SPRINGS – Police officers have one shorter shift to work every two weeks. Heeding Chief Clint Reno’s recommendation, the City Council passed an ordinance March 1 to start a police officer’s overtime pay once that officer has worked 80 hours over two weeks.

Possible homicide under investigation

Body RICHMOND – The investigation continues this morning into a possible homicide, Sheriff Scott Childers said. An adult suspect has been taken into custody and an adult’s body has been located, but details are not being released at the moment.
