City renews ambulance agreement
EXCELSIOR SPRINGS – The city renewed its agreement with the Eastern Clay County Ambulance District.
On June 21, the City Council approved a one-year agreement, slated to take effect Thursday and expire June 30, 2022. As stated in a June 17 memo from Excelsior Springs Fire Department Chief Joe Maddick to city leaders, the city will pay the ambulance district $110,000 for services – up 9% from the previous 12-month agreement.
