Parents, educations, caregivers and children are being warned of the dangers associated with online activity, as it can lead to solicitation and enticement of minors to participate in sexual acts, according to the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI).

Youth family coordinator hosts mental health training locally

The Excelsior Springs community center hosted its first Youth Mental Health First Aid training course for adults to help break down communication barriers surrounding a mental health crisis. Kyria Hood, Youth and Family Coordinator and certified youth mental health first aid instructor, hosted the first-ever class, bringing her expertise.

On March 2nd, Clay County will hold its Presidential Caucus to help select the next Republican nominee for the President and Vice President of the United States. The caucus replaces a Presidential Preference Primary and will be the only way Republicans in Missouri can express their presidential choice this election year.
