Curriculum Night helps bond school, home learning
The Excelsior Springs elementary schools hosted Curriculum Night on Thursday at all three elementary schools.
The night offered three sessions for each grade level and was for all families of elementary students.

assistant principal of Cornerstone Elementary, explained why the district decided to host the event.
“Curriculum Night is being hosted at the elementary level in order to build a strong connection between home and school. It is our goal to provide families with a firsthand experience of their child’s learning environment, routines, curriculum breakdown and overall expectations. This is a great way for families to find out how they can get involved,” she said.
Parents were encouraged to come to the event to meet their child’s teacher and to “learn more about our school mission, curriculum and programs,” Broadbent said.
