In honor of National Good Neighbor Day, the City of Excelsior Springs is urging all residents to participate in a spirited competition to highlight the warm and friendly community atmosphere during Missouri’s Good Neighbor Week.Missouri Good Neighbor Week takes place from Sept. 28- Oct. 4 and provides an opportunity for residents to actively participate in promoting unity and kindness within their communities. Throughout the week, residents are encouraged to engage in various acts of kindness and support within their neighborhoods, such as helping a neighbor with yard work, checking in on elderly residents, or organizing community clean-up efforts. Residents are then invited to share their experiences and actions on the official Missouri Good Neighbor Week website.At the conclusion of the week, the cities in Missouri that have shown the greatest commitment to these neighborly actions, as evidenced by the number of reported acts, will be recognized.
