Retirements and recognition of staff were announced by Excelsior Springs School District Director of Communications Mark Bullimore recent meeting of the Excelsior Springs School Board. Recognition for classified employee of the month included Sarah Carlisle and Megan Deere. “Sarah and Megan have worked vigorously to navigate and communicate our new attendance policies,” said Bullimore. “They pull data weekly and collaborate with the attendance committee members to ensure they have all relevant and necessary information to help work with students and parents.” Bullimore recognized 14 of the 2023-2024 retirees with a gift for their gallant commitment and contributions to generations of students.
