Republican Kurtis Gregory has secured the Missouri State Senate District 21 seat, overcoming Democrat Jim Bates, according to unofficial election results. Furthermore, the outcomes also showed other victories and determined the retention of judges in multiple positions.Gregory garnered 64,355 votes, or 69.32% of the total votes, while Bates received 28,475, or 30.67%.Clay County followed the district’s trend as Gregory received the majority of votes cast – 26,658 or 60.22% – while Bates obtained 15,785 votes, representing 35.66% of the total. Clay County reported 37 or 0.08% of write-in votes were also submitted.
