The release of an Excelsior Springs woman has been ordered following a hearing earlier this month in connection with a series of bond violations tied to disputed drug test results. The decision reinstates Desiree A. Alexander’s original $20,000 cash bond less than three weeks after she was taken into custody on a warrant for an alleged bond violation. Alexander, 37, is charged with nine felonies and one misdemeanor from a 2022 case, including three counts of first-degree rape or attempted rape, two counts of abuse or neglect of a child, and one count each of first-degree sodomy or attempted sodomy, incest, first-degree sexual abuse, first-degree attempted sexual abuse and first-degree sexual misconduct.Alexander recently appeared by video before 43rd Judicial Circuit Court Judge J.
