Excelsior Springs’ journey from a once-thriving resort town to a community experiencing renewed momentum is now being shared statewide through Missouri Humanities’ Small Town Showcase.

Excelsior Springs was selected as one of five winning communities in the Small Town Showcase: Show Me 250 initiative, which includes a podcast and collaborative short film highlighting the community. Chamber of Commerce President Brian Rice and Downtown Excelsior Partnership (DEP) Executive Director Lyndsey Baxter recently joined Program Director Caitlin Yager for the podcast to discuss the city’s history, downtown revitalization, preservation efforts and vision for the future.
