Designated to promote efforts that can potentially save lives, Suicide Prevention and Awareness Month is observed throughout September. During this pivotal month, Excelsior Springs Hospital’s Senior Life Solutions (ESHSLS) collaborates with mental health professionals across the nation to increase awareness about suicide and to advocate for education that could avert future tragedies.
Two minor home repair agreements were approved during the recent Excelsior Springs City Council meeting. The first agreement was with Rebuilding Together Kansas City for a minor home repair and modification program, while the second was with Northland Neighborhoods Inc., which supports residents aging in place.
