Pearl Claudine Williams Crowley passed away June 3, 2024, at home in Rome, Ga., surrounded by her family.

Pearl was born Oct. 11, 1939, to Roy Williams and Frances Williams- Cole in McDonald County.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Howard Williams; She is survived by one sister, Carolyn Kay Carter of Tamms, Ill.; and two children, son Charles “Bill” and his wife Janet Crowley of Excelsior Springs, and daughter Shelly Boozan and her husband Dan Boozan of Rome. Other survivors include two granddaughters, Kayla Hall and her husband Ryan Hall of Kansas City, Kan., and Chelsea Ross of Atlanta; one grandson, Christopher Crowley and his wife Sheila Crowley of Excelsior Springs; and two bonus great-grandchildren, Frankie Tillman and Haleigh Tillman of Excelsior Springs.

Pearl worked for many years at Liberty Hospital before retiring from the dietary department.

Pearl always loved her family and friends immensely and made them her main priority. She enjoyed painting and had a lifelong love of sports, especially the Kansas City Royals, Kansas City Chiefs and the Atlanta Braves.

Pearl will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

In keeping with her wishes, Mrs. Crowley will be cremated and a memorial service to celebrate her life will be held at a later date.
