Over the past few years people emerged from their homes from under the bed and around the corners of a world that had evolved overnight. Covid 19 hurt many people, their jobs, families, education, housing and more. When walking around it appears most people haven’t forgotten but tend to sweep it all under the rug saying things such as “It’s over now, let’s get back to normal.” The reality is things are not back to normal. Everyone to some extent still feels broken. I should stay off social media but it’s what we all do to try and stay connected and to have a voice in this life. It’s sad to think about humanity faltering because of a pandemic. I am young enough to remember after 9/11 when people stood together because America was under attack. Although social issues have always been prevalent, people stood together, helped each other and made sure those suffering were taken care of.
