Members of the Excelsior Springs girls wrestling team are looking to keep their season going this weekend.The girls will compete Friday and Saturday at the Class 1 District 4 Tournament at Kearney. Per Missouri State High School Activities Association regulations, the top four finishers in each weight class will qualify for the Class 1 state tournament, slated for Feb. 26-27 at Mizzou Arena in Columbia.Before turning their attention to districts, the Tigers concluded their regular season with two events last week – a Feb. 4 road dual with Lawson and the Winnetonka All-Girls Tournament, held Feb. 8 in Kansas City.
