City seeks ARPA funds for storm water-related improvements

Excelsior Springs is pursuing roughly $5 million in American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) grant funding to upgrade its storm water system. Williams recaps ‘rebuild year’ for Parks & Rec

Last year was a “Lego year” for Excelsior Springs regarding parks and recreation, according to Nate Williams. Williams, city parks and recreation and community center director, gave that assessment when presenting the Parks and Recreation Department’s annual report for 2021 during the June 6 City Council meeting at the Hall of Waters.
