Eagle versus turkey?

Body
EXCELSIOR SPRINGS – The appearance of an American bald eagle and a turkey in the same Ray County field near the intersection of Route C and Missouri Highway 10 might remind some people of a popular American myth.
ON MISSOURI HIGHWAY 10 near Route C, between Richmond and Excelsior Springs, a bald eagle rests on a round hay bale. In the distance directly behind the eagle stands a wild turkey. The turkey likely has nothing to fear, as this eagle’s focus is a racoon carcass, a road kill luncheon on the side of Highway 10. J.C. VENTIMIGLIA | Staff
