Terry Lee McKown, 73, of Excelsior Springs, MO, passed away Wednesday, April 6, 2022 at home after a long battle from Alzheimer’s disease.

Alberta Mildred Goans, 81, of Excelsior Springs Missouri, passed away from natural causes on Sunday, the 3rd of April, 2022 at Norterre in Liberty Missouri. 

She was born the 29th of July 1940, to her parents, Albert and Laurena Coffelt in Denton, Kansas. 

She worked at Walmart & Food Barn in Excelsior Springs during the 1980’s, and many may know her by the nickname “Sam.” She had a wide variety of professions, including her own cleaning service before retirement. 

Billy Joe McKown, 75, of Excelsior Springs, MO passed away Saturday, March 26th, 2022 at home.  At Billy’s request, a private memorial service will be held at a later date. 
 
Billy Joe McKown was born 8/7/1946 in Excelsior Springs, MO. He was a lifelong resident of Excelsior Springs and loved hunting, fishing and fixing things for his family and friends.  He worked for Ford Motor Company and was a Teamsters Union over the road truck driver as an owner operator for Dallas Mavis Trucking. 
 

On Mar. 18, 2022, Ashley Brooke Mathews of Independence, MO gained her wings after battling an extended illness at University Health in Kansas City.  She was 38 years old.  

Ashley was born to parents Ginger and Carl, on July 30, 1983, in North Kansas City, MO.
