Katie A. Shrout, 70, of rural Rayville passed away on Monday morning, May 17, 2021 at her home.
Katie was born on Nov. 27, 1950, in Kansas City to Eugene Chester Brown and Golda Mae (Green) Brown. On Feb. 23, 1966, Katie was united in marriage to Bobby Shrout in a ceremony performed in Avondale.
In 1988, Bob and Katie moved to the Rayville area, where they enjoyed their small acreage and country living.

Buddy Joe Amos, 83, passed away on Wednesday, April 21, 2021, at Mercy Hospital in Cassville, Mo.
Bud was born April 20, 1938 to Hobart and Beulah Jean (Coons) Amos in Purdy, Mo, where he attended school and graduated in 1956.
