William Paul Christian of Crystal Lakes passed away March 26, 2021, at home. He was born April 1, 1951, in Kansas City, and was a 1969 graduate of Northeast High School.

But last week, Republican House Budget Committee members voted down House Bill 20, which would have provided almost $1.9 billion in funding for the voter-approved expansion.
