LIBERTY – Seven Democrats and seven Republicans voted unanimously to reform Clay County government, and bipartisan groups are adding their support for the constitution plan that will appear on the Nov. 3 ballot.

JEFFERSON CITY – The Living a Healthy Life with Chronic Conditions and Living a Health Life with Diabetes workshop series is designed to assist participants in maintaining quality of life, University of Missouri Extension information states.

Edith Frances (McDaniel) Tarepin, 90, of Excelsior Springs, Missouri, passed away Sept. 5, 2020, at Liberty Hospital in Liberty, Missouri.

EXCELSIOR SPRINGS – The first day of the last year at Westview Elementary School found Hunter Happy, 9, walking with his mother, Kayla Happy, to the door. He wore a camouflage mask, and matching clothes.

LIBERTY – With a controversial $20 million annex replacement project in progress, and with two out of three commissioners out after the Nov. 3 elections, Presiding Commissioner Jerry Nolte wants to put the annex project on hold.
