Collins places seventh at state

Body Austin Collins finished his high school boys tennis career with a state medal around his neck. Collins, who graduated May 16 from Excelsior Springs, placed seventh in the singles portion of the Class 1 state tournament, held May 15-16 at the Cooper Tennis Complex in Springfield.

Schwab earns Dean’s List honor

Body An Excelsior Springs native has earned academic honors from Southern New Hampshire University for the Spring 2025 term. Skylar Schwab was named to the university’s Dean’s List, a recognition reserved for full-time undergraduate students who achieve a grade-point average between 3.

FBI marks 45 years of fighting terrorism
