Jill Comstock has been named the new Lewis Elementary School principal for the 2023-24 school year. The announcement was made during the school board meeting on Oct. 10. She has been the assistant principal at Lewis Elementary for the last four years. In an interview with this newspaper, Comstock explained why she wanted to be a principal at Lewis Elementary. “I just love the students, the families and the staff,” she said. “It’s a great place to be. I’m really excited to be able to continue to work alongside the staff, to continue to build that culture that we are working on – where we just focus on collaboration and student success for all our students.” Comstock also talked about her objectives as principal. “My goals are just to continue to work with the Lewis staff, to really focus on the academic success of all of our students.
