ES, Lawson natives academically honored by MO Western

Three Excelsior Springs natives earned academic honors at Missouri Western State University for the fall 2024 semester, recognizing their hard work and dedication in the classroom.Sydney Shephard was named to the President’s Honor Roll, the university’s highest academic distinction. To qualify, students must complete at least 12 hours of graded coursework and maintain a perfect 4.0 grade point average. Missouri Western honored 354 students with this recognition.Excelsior Springs natives Madi Cole and Natalie Fugate, and Lawson natives Emily Ford and Cassandra Greene earned spots on the Dean’s Honor Roll, which acknowledges students who complete 12 or more graded credit hours with a GPA of 3.5 or higher.
