ES man facing felony assault charges denied GPS monitoring removal
An Excelsior Springs man has been denied a bond modification while facing three felony assault charges.Brandon M. Ladd, 29, is charged with two counts of second- degree domestic assault and third-degree assault of a special victim. Through his attorney, Scott Hamilton, Ladd recently requested a bond modification before Eighth Judicial Circuit Judge Kevin L. Walden. Ladd’s current bond conditions include GPS electronic monitoring, which he requested to have removed or to obtain a furlough for travel.“The defendant (Ladd) wants to visit his sister in Baton Rouge, La., and is unable to travel with the GPS ankle monitor,”the court document reads.
