Long-range planning targets district facility needs
Facility assessments, enrollment projections and community input will help Excelsior Springs School District determine which building and maintenance needs should take priority in the coming years.
The Board of Education recently reviewed plans for the district’s third long-range facilities planning process, which is tied to priorities identified in the newly adopted 202631 Comprehensive School Improvement Plan. The community-informed process is intended to guide future facility investments while considering student needs, safety and operational efficiency. The work is expected to result in recommendations on future facility needs and potential funding options.
Other 2026-27 priorities focus on academics, student support, communication, staffing, school safety and strategic compliance. Updates on those efforts can be found on page 1.
