A jury trial has been set for an Excelsior Springs woman who is facing two felony charges involving tampering with a witness.Kathryn J. Wright, 60, is charged with two felonies of first-degree harassment and tampering with a witness in a felony prosecution.Eighth Judicial Circuit Court Judge Kevin L. Walden recently ordered Wright to face these charges in a two-day jury trial scheduled to begin at 9 a.m. on Nov. 24. She will appear for a pre-trial conference at 2 p.m. on July 2.According to the complaint filed by Ray County Prosecutor Camille A. Johnston, the range of punishment for the class E felony of firstdegree harassment is imprisonment in the custody of the Missouri Department of Corrections for a term not less than one year and not to exceed four years; or by imprisonment for a special term not to exceed one year in the county jail or other authorized penal institution; or by a fine not to exceed $10,000...
