LOUIS – The Parson administration is recruiting inactive medical professionals to help combat COVID-19, which could mean asking retirees to reenter an environment known to be more dangerous to older people. But that is not stopping them from agreeing to help meet medical needs, including special teams that answered the call for help in Warrensburg and Clinton. Parson’s communication director, Kelli R. Jones, said precautions are being taken to protect those who step up, she said. “There would probably be opportunities for (older people) to assist, maybe not right on the front line,” she said.
