The Clay County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO) has identified the body that was found at Rocky Hollow Park in Excelsior Springs on Dec. 22, 2023, as Gildardo H.
The Clay County Sheriff’s Office is asking for help collecting card games and jigsaw puzzles for the local Detention Center throughout January. “The community responded so overwhelmingly to the first-ever paperback book and puzzle drive we did for the jail in January 2022 that when new needs arose, we decided to ask them for help again,” said Clay County Sheriff Will Akin.
