Banzai brought to schools by NASB

North American Savings Bank (NASB) is bringing financial literacy education to students and residents in several Missouri counties. Students at Excelsior Springs High School, Lewis Elementary, Missouri City Elementary and the surrounding communities will have free access to Banzai.

Immunization Clinic available for ES students

The Immunization clinic is March 2 for high school and middle school students. Students entering twelth grade are due for second Meningococcal vaccine, students entering eighth grade are due for Tdap and first Meningococcal vaccine.

Legal action taken in Homestead city clerk theft

Although a December 2021 audit of City of Homestead Village financial records revealed theft of “at least $4,348” had occurred, city officials report there has still been no action taken by the prosecuting attorney against Homestead Village’s former city clerk. During the latest Homestead Village Council meeting, members discussed their desire to have legal action taken against the clerk.
