Body Olen Eugene Griffel, born September 30, 1925, formerly of Higginsville and Excelsior Springs, died July 16, 2021, at the age of 95, in Braymer, MO. He will be buried in the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery. Condolences may be left for the family at www.kaiserwiegersfuneralhome.

Body Mark Heavelow,71, of Lawson passed away July 7, 2021 at home. Mark was born July 15,1949.   He worked at Ford Motor Company for 30 years and was retired for 23 years, spending that time with his family.

Body Gregory Lynn Carroll, 66, of Lawson, MO passed away Sunday, July 11, 2021, at North Kansas City Hospital in North Kansas City, MO. Greg was born on Feb. 26, 1955, the son of William “Bill” and Bonnie (Marley) Carroll in Excelsior Springs, MO.

Body Richard Byron (Pope) Sager, 90, went to be with our Lord and Savior on the afternoon of Thursday, July 8, 2021, after a fall in his home on June 23. He was born on Dec. 26, 1930, the ninth and youngest child of Milton and Ethel (Clark) Sager in Centerville, Iowa.

Body Geneva (O’Dell) Shelton, 90, a longtime resident of Excelsior Springs, passed away Tuesday, July 6, 2021, after a short stay at Liberty Hospital. Geneva was born July 7, 1930 in Ethel, Missouri, to Ollie and Mattie (Black) Cohoon.
