Glen Russell Stagner, 46, of Kansas City, MO, passed away unexpectedly on Aug. 2, 2021.  Russell loved to fish for crappie.  He had also played on a pool league for over ten years making it to Las Vegas for the Tournament of Champions.

Margaret “Anne” Mayes, 81, of Excelsior Springs, Missouri, passed away with her family by her side on Thursday, July 22, 2021, at Excelsior Springs Nursing and Rehab.   Born June 24, 1940, Anne was the daughter of Joseph and Margaret R. Partridge of Kansas City, MO.

Darlene O'Dell, 82, died July 28, 2021, at her home in Elkhorn, Missouri, where she had lived since 1960. Her daughters were by her side. Darlene was born September 18, 1938, at her home near Lawson, MO to Vern and Nellie (Mayes) Elliott.

Nancy Sue Coker was taken from us July 19, 2021 as the Lord see fit. She was preceded in death by her mother Elsie B. Coker, father Thomas C. Coker, brother Terry S. Coker and is survived by brother J. Coker. She went out with shooting star I knew she was at rest and at peace.

Earl Lee Shook, 65, Lawson, MO. passed away July 22, 2021. Graveside services will be held at 12:00p.m., Thursday, July 29, 2021, at Missouri Veterans Cemetery, Higginsville, MO.

Robert (Bob) E. Mahoney, 77, took the checkered flag peacefully at home on July 19, 2021. Cause of death may have been from when his liver went into shock from lack of beer and cigarettes he had to give up the last months of his life.

Glenn W. Clevenger Sr., 81, Excelsior Springs, MO. passed away peacefully at his home July 18, 2021 surrounded by his family.

Olen Eugene Griffel, born September 30, 1925, formerly of Higginsville and Excelsior Springs, died July 16, 2021, at the age of 95, in Braymer, MO. He will be buried in the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery. Condolences may be left for the family at www.kaiserwiegersfuneralhome.com 

Born Feb 15, 1937, died July 17th, 2021. Larry was born in Coffeyville, Kansas. He retired from the air force after serving 22 years.

Freddie Junior Vanderpool passed away July 13, 2021, at his home.  Freddie was born December 17,1942, in Liberty, MO to Fred and Marie  (Woods) Vanderpool.  Freddie was raised in Excelsior Springs, graduating from Excelsior  Springs High School in 1960.
