Life is fleeting, a profound truth that we all understand yet often overlook – until an event jolts us into a new awareness.Recently, I attended the funeral of someone very dear to me, a moment heavy with emotion that struck deeply. Standing among familiar faces – some of whom I hadn’t seen in years – there was a mixed feeling of sorrow and warmth.The atmosphere was bittersweet; we came together to honor a life well-lived, yet the occasion was tinged with grief. Tears were shed, but laughter also filled the air as fond memories and stories of the person who had united us were shared. Each tale echoed the impact they had on our lives, illuminating the beautiful bond we all shared.However, amid the shared joy and sadness, a nagging thought persisted: why did it take a funeral, a moment of loss, for us to reconnect? It was a stark reminder of how easily we can drift apart, highlighting the importance of cherishing our relationships before it’s too late....
