Landon Biermann continued to lead the Excelsior Springs varsity boys golf team in its lone competition last week – a dual with Kearney.The North Central Missouri College-bound senior was the medalist for the April 22 Greater Kansas City Suburban Conference-Blue Division competition, held at Excelsior Springs Golf Course. Biermann finished his nine-hole round with a 37.Kearney, however, won the dual by shooting a combined 162. Led by Biermann, Excelsior Springs shot a 185.Other Excelsior Springs contributors and their scores were Tayvion Kennedy, 47; Landon Cramer, 49; and Lan Overholtzer, 52.The Tigers had five competitions scheduled for this week – the Kearney Invitational Monday, a dual Tuesday with visiting Cameron, a quadrangular Wednesday at Smithville, a home triangular Thursday and a tournament Friday at Richmond....
