EXCELSIOR SPRINGS – Another girls golf season is complete at Excelsior Springs. The season ended Monday at the Excelsior Springs Golf Course in the Class 2 District 4 Tournament. The team struggled with wet and windy conditions, with none of the ladies qualifying for next week’s state tournament. Junior Olivia Kelley was Excelsior Springs’ highest finisher, tying Pleasant Hill’s Morgan Lassiter for 30th by shooting a 126 for the 18-hole, par-72 round. Kailey Sejkora shot a 129 (+57) and finished 34th. Senior Lainey Creason shot a 132 (+60) and tied Savannah’s Abby Elizabeth Caraway for 35th. Sophomore Kylee Baldridge shot a 137 (+65) and finished 40th. The Tigers shot a combined 524, finishing ninth in the team standings. The district tournament followed the Missouri River Valley Conference Tournament, held Oct. 5 at Mules National Golf Course in Warrensburg, where the Tigers shot a combined 445 and finish...
