Another four-year starter in varsity baseball at Excelsior Springs is taking his game to the next level.Ryne Marcum has opted to attend and play for Ottawa (Kan.) University, an NAIA-affiliated school.“Playing at the next level has been a lifelong goal of mine and I am really looking forward to this opportunity,” Marcum said.Marcum will join a program that’s en route to a sixth straight winning season. The Braves were 36-10 overall and 25-8 in the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference entering Tuesday’s nonconference meeting with visiting Peru (Neb.)
