McBee, O’Dell nab shooting sports honors

Body Dantin McBee has a streak going at the Ray County Fair. McBee, who’ll start high school this fall at Excelsior Springs, received the Overall Best in Show Award for shooting sports July 13 at the fair.

Body Salvador Perez is headed back to the Major League Baseball All-Star Game. The veteran catcher will represent the Kansas City Royals in the annual ballgame, slated for July 16 at Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas. It’ll be his ninth All-Star Game appearance.
