The Excelsior Springs Fire Department (ESFD) is joining the Meals and a Visit Program to support homebound residents by adding a focus on home safety and prevention. The Meals and a Visit Program (MVP) is run through the Excelsior Springs Parks, Recreation and Community Center and supports homebound residents through home-delivered meals and regular visits.

Excelsior Springs Hospital is highlighting prevention and education this February by offering two health and wellness sessions aimed at helping older adults better understand heart health and self-care.
